Understanding the Core Problem
Chotubot is a tiny desktop companion robot designed to make workspaces more interactive and fun. The product acts like a digital pet for your desk, offering features such as games, reminders, focus modes, and a playful personality.
While the product itself was unique and engaging, the website experience failed to communicate its charm and value clearly. Visitors often struggled to understand what the product did, why it was useful, and how to purchase it.
I redesigned the website with a strong focus on product storytelling, clarity, and checkout optimization.
The result was a significant increase in conversion rate and a 5× increase in sales.



Our Approach
Clarifying the Product Story
The first priority was helping users instantly understand what Chotubot is and why it belongs on their desk.The website messaging and layout were restructured to communicate:
what the product does
how it interacts with users
how it enhances a workspace
By simplifying the messaging and improving visual hierarchy, visitors could grasp the product concept within seconds.
Improving Product Presentation
Because Chotubot is a personality-driven gadget, the website needed to reflect that charm.
The redesign focused on:
cleaner layouts and spacing
