Crafting a premium digital storefront for international indulgence.

Abaan Chocolates is a Dubai-based luxury chocolate brand with a presence in the UAE, Gulf, Africa, and India — serving a customer base across 23 countries. Despite its strong product line and international expansion, Abaan lacked a digital experience that reflected the richness of its brand and the convenience today’s global shoppers expect.

I led the UX/UI design of their new e-commerce platform, transforming it into a visually rich, multi-region, premium shopping destination — aligned with both the brand’s heritage and international user needs.

Luxury meets localization.

The key design challenge was to strike the right balance between global scalability and regional personalization, all while maintaining a refined, high-end brand tone. We aimed for an interface that felt decadent, elegant, and intuitive — no unnecessary friction, just smooth interaction and beautiful presentation.

  • Region-specific UX flows: Designed a system where users automatically see pricing, currency, and delivery options based on their region — enhancing trust and clarity across 23 countries.

  • Visual storytelling through design: Created a modern, high-contrast UI using rich tones, punchy colors, elegant typography, and luxury-grade visuals to reflect the premium nature of the product.

  • Effortless navigation: Built a clean hierarchy and product discovery flow optimized for mobile and desktop, with minimal taps to order — keeping the luxury buyer’s journey smooth and satisfying.

  • Vendor ordering interface: Introduced a streamlined order placement flow for regional vendors and bulk buyers — enabling Abaan to grow its B2B operations through the same platform.

  • Culture-inspired branding: Wove in subtle visual cues from Dubai's cultural and architectural design — bringing a unique regional identity to the global stage.

Every design decision was made to feel rich, responsive, and reliable — just like the chocolate.
